Common commuting methods when working in Tokyo
Public transportation is well developed in Tokyo, and many people commute by train or bus. In particular, trains run on almost exact schedules, making it one of the means of transportation that allows you to commute to work without being late. Trains in the city center run every 3 to 5 minutes during the morning rush hour, more frequently than at other times, and are designed to accommodate a large number of commuters. Recently, some companies allow employees to work at different times so that they can avoid the busy morning hours and have a more comfortable commute. Additionally, with the promotion of remote work and staggered working hours, train congestion rates have eased compared to before.
